The new order is split between 12 A320neo and 93 A321neo variants. The A321neo, the larger member of the A320neo family, is known for its exceptional range and performance, perfectly suited for Saudia Group's expanding network. The A321neo, the largest member of the A320neo family, offers extended range and improved performance, perfectly suited for both domestic and regional routes. This strategic selection will empower Saudia and flyadeal to expand their network reach and cater to a broader range of destinations.

This strategic partnership aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 plan, which aims to transform the kingdom into a global tourism hub. The additional aircraft will be instrumental in meeting the growing demand for air travel and increasing passenger capacity across Saudia Group's existing 100+ destinations on four continents.

“Saudia has ambitious operational objectives to meet growing demand,” said His Excellency Engr. Ibrahim Al-Omar, Director General of Saudia Group. "We are increasing flights and seat capacity, and this order will further our expansion plans."

The A320neo family is a popular choice for airlines worldwide, known for its fuel efficiency, superior economics, and passenger comfort. This acquisition will not only strengthen Saudia Group's fleet but also contribute to the national economy by creating jobs and supporting local content.

Christian Scherer, Chief Commercial Officer of Airbus, echoed the sentiment, stating, "The new additions of the A320neo family aircraft will play a vital role in contributing to Saudi Arabia's ambitious Vision 2030 plan."
