Setting Sail for the Middle East and Asia:
The A350-900 takes to the skies in mid-September 2024, setting its sights on destinations closer to home base. Bahrain (EK839/EK840) will be the first to experience the A350's comfort, with service starting daily on September 15th. Kuwait (EK853/EK854) follows suit on September 16th, also enjoying daily A350 service. By December 1st, Muscat (EK866/EK867) will join the A350 club, with its daily service switching to this new aircraft.
Looking towards India, Mumbai (EK502/EK503) gets its A350 upgrade on October 27th, 2024, with daily service. Ahmedabad (EK538/EK539) will also be dazzled by the A350 on October 27th, offering daily flights. Finally, Colombo (EK654/EK655) will see the A350 grace its skies starting January 1st, 2025, taking over one of its four daily routes.
European Delights Await:
Get ready to experience the A350's comfort on your European adventures too! Edinburgh takes the crown as the first European city to embrace the A350, with daily service starting November 4th, 2024. Two more European destinations join the party on December 1st, 2024 - Lyon and Bologna will both be served daily by the A350.
This is just the beginning for Emirates' A350 fleet. The airline expects to have all 10 of their initial A350-900s operational by March 2025, and with 65 more on order, we can expect even more exciting route announcements in the future.
